A new shop!
After selling my products in the local hand work and crafts store up on on the northern mountain in Sundsvall - Sweden, it's time for my very own web shop!
A creative journey that began on a quiet island off the coast of Sundsvall, Sweden, has grown into a small but meaningful business. Four years ago, I moved to Sweden and settled into a stuga on Alnö, where life moved at a slower pace, surrounded by sea and forest. It was there that I picked up a crochet hook for the first time. What started as a simple hobby soon developed into a deep love for macramé and working with cotton cord, a peaceful craft that allowed me to create something beautiful by hand.
Before long, my work began to intertwine with my husband’s. While I was learning the rhythm of knots and threads, he was creating with wood, and our crafts naturally came together. By combining soft cotton fibers with warm natural wood, we began making handmade pieces such as coasters and platters. These creations eventually found a place in a charming handcraft shop at Norra Berget, where being part of a community of makers felt like a small dream coming to life.
Now the journey is taking its next step. With the opening of my Etsy shop, my handmade pieces are reaching beyond the cozy mountain shop to a wider audience. While the setting may be different, the heart of the work remains the same. Each piece is made slowly and thoughtfully, with the hope that a small part of this story will find its way into homes around the world.
